Who can apply for the Russian government scholarship?
Students who are currently enrolled in the third grade of secondary school (baccalaureate) can apply for a Russian government scholarship to study undergraduate (undergraduate).
Students who have already completed high school (baccalaureate) can apply for a Russian government scholarship to study undergraduate (undergraduate).
Students who are currently enrolled in bachelors (that is, undergraduate) can apply for a Russian government scholarship to study undergraduate (undergraduate) (note that the study will be from the beginning).
Students who have already completed their bachelor’s degree (undergraduate) can apply for a Russian government scholarship to study undergraduate (undergraduate).

- Fill out the application for the grant.
- Personal photo (formal and with a white background).
- A copy of the passport or personal identity card. (not expired)
- A copy of the graduation certificate and high school transcripts (baccalaureate) (if you want to apply for a bachelor’s program, i.e. university studies). [Notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Russian, and documented by the embassy]
- A copy of a graduation certificate and a statement of bachelor’s degrees (undergraduate) (if you want to apply for a master’s program). [Notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Russian, and documented by the embassy]
- A copy of a graduation certificate and a statement of master’s degrees (if you want to apply for a Ph.D. program). [Notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Russian, and documented by the embassy]
- A copy of the medical certificate stating that there are no infectious diseases (it is extracted from any accredited hospital in your country and is translated into Russian).
- A medical report indicating the absence of an immunodeficiency virus (AIDS or another called HIV test) (translated into Russian)
Very important note:
- If you are enrolled in the last grade of high school (baccalaureate) and want to apply for a Russian government scholarship to study a bachelor’s (undergraduate), you must submit proof of enrollment that you are in the last grade of high school or baccalaureate
- If you are enrolled in the last grade of a bachelor’s degree (undergraduate) and want to apply for a Russian government scholarship to study a master’s, you must submit proof of enrollment in the last grade of a bachelor’s degree and a transcript of degrees for previous years.
- If you are enrolled in the last grade of a master’s degree and want to apply for a Russian government scholarship to study for a doctorate, you must submit proof of enrollment in the last grade of the master’s and a transcript of degrees for previous years.
- Attention: all documents in Russian must be translated and notarized.
How to apply for the scholarship
There are several steps to applying for a Russian government scholarship, as follows:
1- Choose the college or major you want to study in and choose universities (you can choose 6 universities).
2- Fill out the online application and attach the documents.
3- After you are accepted in the first stage, you will receive a message on the e-mail or e-mail that you registered for the scholarship to set a date for the personal interview.
4- Receive an invitation to study in Russia, obtain a visa, and then travel to Russia to study.
