SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME FOR CITIZENS OF THE OIC AND THE NAM MEMBER COUNTRIES

“The Educational Grant Programme for the Citizens of the Member Countries of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation” and “The Educational Grant Programme for the Citizens of the Member Countries of the Non-Aligned Movement” were approved by the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 6, 2017 and on January 10, 2018, respectively. The Educational Grant (hereafter “scholarship”) Programmes provide an opportunity for selected candidates on annual basis to study in the leading universities of Azerbaijan at the preparatory courses, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, general medicine/residency programmes.

Please note that an English Proficiency Certificate is not mandatory. No need for IELTS or TOEFL. No application fee is required to apply for this scholarship program in Azerbaijan. The scholarships in Azerbaijan were approved by the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Eligibility Criteria

• For undergraduate programs, the applicant must be under 25 years old.
• For postgraduate programs, the applicant must be under the age of 30
• For the Ph.D. program, the applicant must be under 40 years old

Participants from the OIC Member States and the Non-Aligned Movement member states are eligible.

Required Documents

• A completed application form
• Diplomas or transcripts from high school or previous university studies
• a copy of the passport
• Document on general health status (including HIV / AIDS and Hepatitis B and C tests)
• Resume or CV
• Motivation letter
• Proof of English language (not mandatory)
